Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Pairly's marketplace, where guests book private chefs and chefs offer their services. By creating an account or completing a booking, you agree to the Terms below.
Your account
You are responsible for everything done under your account. Keep your password secure, only book chefs for yourself or people you have permission to host, and tell us promptly if your account is used without authorization.
Booking, payments and cancellations
Pairly takes a 50% deposit at booking and the remaining 50% balance 24 hours before the event. Pairly's commission is 10%. Cancellations follow the schedule shown on each booking — full refund 14+ days out, partial refund 7–14 days, no refund inside 48 hours unless your chef agrees.
What chefs and guests promise each other
Chefs commit to arriving on time, sourcing safely, and cooking the menu confirmed in the booking. Guests commit to providing accurate event details, a usable kitchen, and timely payment. If something goes wrong, contact Pairly support before disputing — we mediate disputes in good faith.
Things you may not do
Don't impersonate other people, scrape the platform, evade fees by paying chefs off-platform, or use Pairly to facilitate unsafe food preparation. We can suspend accounts that break these rules.
Liability and disputes
Pairly is the marketplace, not the cook. Chefs carry their own liability insurance and Pairly maintains an umbrella policy. Disputes go to binding arbitration in New York unless your jurisdiction requires otherwise. You can opt out within 30 days of signing up.
