PAIRLY
What we collect, why, and what we don't sell

Privacy Policy

Last updated April 2026

This Policy explains the data Pairly collects when you visit pairly.com, sign up, or complete a booking. We don't sell personal data. We use third parties only when we can't run the service without them.

Data we collect

Account info (name, email, phone, password hash), guest preferences (cuisine, dietary, budget, schedule), chef profile data (bio, photos, menus, availability), bookings and messages, and standard request metadata (IP, browser, device).

How we use it

To match guests with chefs, take payments and pay chefs, send booking confirmations and reminders, prevent fraud, and improve the service. The Pairly concierge uses your preferences and message history to draft suggestions; we don't share that with chefs without your consent.

Third parties we use

Stripe for payments, NextAuth providers for sign-in, transactional email and SMS providers for notifications, and Anthropic for the AI concierge (request payloads, never your password or full payment details).

Your rights

You can export or delete your account from the dashboard. EU/UK and California residents have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA — write to privacy@pairly.com and we'll honour them within statutory timelines.

Retention

Bookings and invoices are retained for 7 years for tax and dispute purposes. Messages are retained as long as the account is active. Marketing preferences honour opt-outs immediately.
